The day and your city
A Panchang that is actually local to you
Panchang means five limbs: Tithi, Nakshatra, Yoga, Karana, and Vara. They are time-sensitive, so the useful answer depends on the date and your location. Luna calculates them at your local sunrise, then shows the daylight window they belong to.
Rahu Kalam is also location-aware. Its segment is measured from the real sunrise and sunset for your selected city, not from a fixed 6 AM template. That matters whenever daylight saving time or seasonal daylight length changes the day.
Use the calendar without turning it into a rulebook
The page is designed for the practical questions people actually ask: what is today’s Tithi, which Nakshatra is active, and when is Rahu Kalam? It presents the calculation cleanly, with enough context to use it without a wall of unexplained abbreviations.
A Panchang is a traditional calendar and reflection tool. It does not make decisions for you, predict outcomes, or replace medical, financial, legal, or relationship advice.

Questions
Daily Panchang questions, answered.
What is today’s Panchang?
Choose your city and date to see the day’s Tithi, Nakshatra, Yoga, Karana, and Vara calculated at local sunrise.
Why does Panchang depend on my city?
Sunrise, sunset, and the exact time a lunar element changes differ by location and timezone. A city-specific calculation is more useful than a one-size-fits-all calendar.
What is Rahu Kalam?
Rahu Kalam is a traditional daily period calculated by dividing the daylight between real sunrise and sunset into eight parts. The assigned segment changes by weekday.
Does this page show Rahu Kalam for any date?
Yes. Select any available date and city to calculate that day’s sunrise, sunset, Panchang, and Rahu Kalam.
Is Panchang advice?
No. It is a traditional calendar calculation for entertainment and reflection. Your decisions remain your own.
